Job Description Oversees Finance staff, which provides finance support to Vistar's Operating Companies (OpCos). Provides key support through forecasting, planning, variance analysis, financial modeling, profitability analysis, and capital transactions. Prepares complex financial modeling and coordinates across various functional areas, from Operations to Sales. Supports OpCo leadership in operational analysis and monitoring key operational metrics. Provides guidance and leadership to assigned staff, including performance management and identifying key development opportunities. Functions as a team member and leader with the department/organization, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Oversee finance staff in providing OpCos finance support including variance analysis, forecasting, annual budget, and operational review to over 20 OpCos
* Work across the organization at the senior leadership level and across functional areas in order to translate financial performance for non-financial members of the organization
* Coordinate with the Business Service Center on monthly financial close, interpreting accounting policy adherence and understanding fundamental accounting requirements and controls
* Prepares complex financial modeling of new transactions
* Maintain and update financial models, staying current on key deliverables in order to provide support for post-closing integration, from financial modeling to accounting process integration
* Prepares executive-level presentations and analysis on financial performance, including analysis on profitability and productivity (including mix and margin analysis, market trends, and competitive evaluation)
* Interacts as an integral member of the OpCo leadership group and drives financially based decision making at the OpCo and regional level
* Analyze capital investment decisions

LI-AR1 Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent experience
10+ years of Finance and accounting experience
5+ years of experience managing financial professionals
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Must have experience supporting both income and expense organizations with responsibility for overall profitability
Must be comfortable creating and giving presentations at senior leadership level
Experience providing finance support for a multi-location national organization
