Job Summary
Provides high level of expertise in the design and functionality of business applications; Understands the business objectives and how best they can be supported by IT; Responsible for the conceptual design of business applications; Reviews and validates the technical design for business applications provided by the supplier; Performs quality review checks on project deliverables; Validates suppliers estimates; Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components; Estimates Rough Order of Magnitude to implement new application functionality; Specifies / recommends integration and parallel testing criteria; Supports the implementation activities, as required; Mentors lower level colleagues.
Essential Job Functions
Is responsible for the conceptual design of business applications Mentors lower level colleagues Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system Specifies / Recommends Integration and Parallel testing criteria Understands customers processes and products and how they fit within the goals of the business unit Reviews and validates the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier to ensure alignment with business requirements; Validates suppliers estimates Estimates Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort/cost of new application functionality Performs quality review checks on project deliverables Acts as liaison between Business and IT, as assigned Supports users in building Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high level plan Supports the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues, training as required
The Lead Developer will works with the reporting team on the current models and template developments.
Maintain or create new RICEFW and Config delivery across all deployments and partners with the Suppliers on resource capacity to deliver RICEFW and configuration
Partner with the development teams on governance topics and ensure deployments adhering to RICEFW and configuration standards and processes
Demonstrates broad technical expertise on BW4HANA, BPC, and SAC.
Works with development partners to identify and resolve defects and issues escalating as required
Work with the reporting lead on delivery, governance, and resource constraint issues. Update and review global development standards, processes and strategies, and configuration standards and processes
Review and approve Development deliverables included in vendor statements of work
Work/collaborate with external vendors, including on-shore and offshore resources
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.
Experience Requirements
Level IlI: 5 years of experience in SAP application development / testing role or 1 year of experience as an Application SME Level Il.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SAP Business Planning and Consolidation
Minimum of 2 to 3 relevant project experience, full implementation cycle, support
Extensive experience in SAP Business Planning Consolidation version 11.0 or earlier
Hands-on experience in Sap Analytics Cloud by building/configuring models in the SAP cloud.
Well versed in the usage of predefined planning functions as well as implementing custom-defined planning functions with Fox formulas or ABAP
Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes
Experience in SAP BW4HANA or BWH, notably creation of planning enabled BW objects
Knowledge of Master Data master data management is a plus
Familiarity with report creation using SAP Business Objects BI client tools, especially SAP Business Objects Analysis, Edition for Microsoft Office or OLAP
Ability to absorb business concepts and understand their relationship to the business application inventory
Experience in SAP S4HANA or ECC finance-related modules is a plus
Experience in SAP BPC Technical and Functional Upgrade or Enhancement is a plus
Relevant SAP certifications are a plus
Special Skill Requirement
Able to actively take part in meetings and conferences and communicate effectively. Capable of composing reports and technical explanations. Good written and oral skills in local language. May require occasional traveling
