The Wireless Systems Engineering intern will be part of the Terragraph project under Facebook Connectivity. Terragraph is a high bandwidth wireless mesh network built on commodity radios operating at the 60GHz frequency spectrum. Its goal is to provide multi-gigabits of bandwidth to users in the developing and developed countries at costs much less than fiber. The intern will assist the Terragraph team working on network analysis and optimization tools that assist in the deployment and maintenance of the wireless mesh network. The Terragraph system collects data periodically, which in combination with active tests, is used to track the health of the network. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, machine learning, programming, and wireless networking. The intern will assist the team in generating insights from available data, and tracking and debugging network health issues.
