The FRL performance marketing team is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to lead global Paid Social marketing for Portal, Oculus and future cutting edge augmented and virtual reality products. To be successful, you are a data driven performance marketer with expertise in Facebooks paid advertising products. You think and plan strategically, and have the operational chops to roll up your sleeves and get things done with your team.
Your primary objective is to drive acquisition at scale with efficient ROAS however, you will also support full funnel campaigns including brand and retention objectives in your channels. Additionally, you will lead and grow a small and mighty team of in-house marketers to help you execute and manage campaigns in US and international markets. You thrive in a dynamic environment, drive clarity from ambiguity, feel invigorated by multi-tasking and constantly push to raise the bar on optimization and performance.
Performance Marketing Lead, Paid Social - Facebook Reality Labs Responsibilities
* Lead paid social marketing channel strategy and launch large scale, breakthrough campaigns for Portal/Oculus
* Build industry leading optimization capability to maximize hardware sales at efficient ROAS
* define and implement channel best practices
* Identify optimization opportunities using data
* Architect ambitious test plans across targeting, creative, platform, publishers, landing page, commission rates etc.
* Manage in-house paid social media managers
* Determine KPIs, establish reporting, manage and own channel performance
* Provide thought leadership on attribution and channel incrementality for your channels
* Manage large marketing budgets and ensure we are allocating spend optimally across channels, geographies and marketing funnel
* Collaborate with performance strategists and channel experts, work cross-functionally with marketing stakeholders including: PMM, integrated marketing, decision science, creative, production, owned channels
Minimum Qualifications
* 6+ years of experience in managing and optimizing paid digital acquisition/DR channels with 4+ years of experience in marketing B2C products for retail/e-commerce businesses
* 3+ years of experience in managing paid social marketing strategy and operations
* 3+ years of people leadership experience
* Expertise in Facebooks advertising product suite
* Experience running in-house marketing strategy and hands-on campaign execution and operations
* Analytical experience in conducting own analysis on channel performance, identifying optimization opportunities and using data to inform business decisions and experience in Excel
* Proven communication and stakeholder management skill
* Experience managing contractors and vendor relationships
* BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with marketing consumer electronics or gaming products and category dynamics
* Experience working with large budgets (7 figures)
* Have launched marketing campaigns in international markets (in addition to US)
* Experience with Basic/Intermediate SQL
* Knowledge about consumer tech and gaming products
