The position reports to the Manager Co-Brand Customer Marketing & Portfolio Growth and will be based at the G.O. in Atlanta.

Position Summary

The Senior Account Executive will be a key player in ensuring the continued success of the card portfolio. S/he will oversee Co-Brand marketing campaigns from concept through execution, while working closely with leadership within SkyMiles and other critical business areas. Strong focus will be placed on strategic initiatives that are cross-functional in nature, and the role serves as a unique opportunity to have an impact to the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Lead development, execution, and performance of marketing campaigns that will drive card member spend and engagement and key portfolio initiatives
* Deepen current card member loyalty, increase their card spend, and increase engagement in strategic markets
* Provide innovative ideas to support engagement and portfolio strategy in collaboration with SkyMiles Communications, Sales and Marketing
* Develop highly effective cross-divisional relationships and provide creative thinking to achieve goals with key commercial teams and external partners including American Express
* Build engaging presentations that effectively communicate the business strategy to both internal and external business partners
* Facilitate cross-collaboration within and across the broader Co-Brand card team
* Manage product marketing strategy and partner with the Co-Brand strategy team to implement portfolio initiatives

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

* Proven experience leading marketing campaigns to deliver strong business results
* Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities at any given time, and leveraging resources across divisions
* Excellent communicator, both through written and verbal presentations; comfortable voicing opinions with partners and senior leadership
* Experience planning, leading, and implementing strategic initiatives
* A passion for Delta, SkyMiles, and delivering an industry-leading customer experience
* Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
* Must be able to work collaboratively, be detailed-oriented and drive results in a cross-functional environment
* Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, resourceful, and handle ambiguity
* Embraces Diverse people, thinking and styles
* Must be performing satisfactorily in current position

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience is preferred.

MBA/Master's degree in relevant field preferred (Business, Marketing, Management or related)
