Job Summary
This position is responsible for the accurate and timely documentation of inbound materials, monitoring inventory control of materials; and working with various levels of the organization for resolution of customer and /or deployment concerns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.

* Inventory Control Verify production, correct issues, and communicate discrepancies. Facilitate raw, packaging, and finished good inventory reconciliation.
* Receiving Manage the receiving process from start to finish for all LTL, raw, and packaging materials.
* Data Entry and Record Keeping -- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and filed in a timely manner; Maintain inventory metrics reports.
* Problem Resolution -- Assist Material Planners, Corporate Customer Service, Procurement, and Transportation, in the communication and correction of issues with anything surrounding the receipt or shipment of materials
* Customer and Warehouse Delivery Function as back-up Distribution / Warehouse contact for Corporate Customer Service, answering inquiries and responding to requests concerning customer orders.
* Participate in product recall / trace events.
* Coordinate product donation pickups.
* Insure FEFO is being adhered to in the warehouse.
* Back up for shipping and receiving office duties
* Notify Supply Chain Manager or Team Leader of any equipment, material, food safety, or quality issues.
* Reconcile Chep inventory on a weekly basis.
* Create and maintain time-sheets for warehouse temporary employees.
* Complete special projects, duties and assignments, as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
* Associates Degree, preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum of 3 years of related warehousing or inventory management experience, or equivalent administrative experience, required.
* Experience working with a diverse group of people.

SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES:

* Solid data entry skills.
* General understanding of Accounting principals or procedures.
* Thorough understanding of Inventory procedures, systems, and techniques
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Familiarity with financial management and reporting systems, such as SAP.
* Solid organizational skills.
* Possesses good judgment and an ability to analyze data and information in order to make effective and timely decisions.
* Ability to seek innovative approaches to resolving problems.
* Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization.
* Solid problem solving, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
* Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
* Ability to adapt well to change and accept new projects, assignments, etc., as needed.
* Displays a commitment to results and accepts accountability for own performance.
