Job Summary

The CORE (Career Opportunities & Rotational Experiences) Technology Program will launch you towards success at Comcast NBCUniversal. Recent college graduates interested in a technology career will have the unique opportunity to experience three different full time positions within the Comcast NBCUniversal footprint over the course of two years, including areas such as Software Engineering (e.g., Mobile App, Web, Back-End), AI, Cyber Security, Data Science, and Application Architecture. Your first rotation will be a one-year assignment, while your second and third rotation will each be six months in duration. As you rotate, youll have the opportunity to work and live in different areas of the country while building your professional skill set and gaining exposure to key business and technology leaders. You will share milestone experiences with your fellow Associates, including individual and group development opportunities to further your technology acumen and professional growth. Associates bring more than technical expertise to the program they bring passion, innovation and curiosity to the technology teams within Comcast NBCUniversal. They learn from each other and work together to find creative and inclusive solutions to the ever-changing technology landscape of our industry. What groups might I be working with as a CORE Tech Associate? Your responsibilities will vary based on rotation assignments, giving you a thorough understanding of the entire business. Possible host businesses may include but are not limited to: - Comcast Labs - DreamWorks Animation, R&D; - FreeWheel - NBCUniversal Operations & Technology - NBCUniversal Filmed Technology - Universal Parks Technology - Digital Home - X1 - Xfinity Mobile What locations might I rotate through as a CORE Tech Associate? Possible locations may include but are not limited to: - Denver, CO - Englewood Cliffs, NJ - Los Angeles, CA - Philadelphia, PA - New York City, NY - Orlando, FL - Stamford, CT - Sunnyvale, CA - Washington, D.C.

Core Responsibilities

* Creates system architecture, design and specification within engineering projects and initiatives. Uses solid engineering skills and knowledge to solve moderate to difficult development problems and achieve engineering goals.
* Strives to achieve Company business objectives and engineering objectives in daily activity. Adheres to established company procedures and processes.
* Documents results of applied work processes and practical application of technical standards. Reports results to management.
* Works with limited supervision. Familiarizes self with company goals and strategies in order to achieve short-term goals with resolution.
* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The company also provides a wireless phone service under the Xfinity Mobile name; and owns the Philadelphia Flyers, as well as the Wells Fargo Center arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
