Summary

Acting as the Capability Analyst you will be responsible for assisting with the management of Product backlog for the Data Knowledge Center (DKC) Scrum team by executing critical business use cases and ensuring the deliverable meets and exceeds the Product needs. The Capability Analyst will also ensure the stakeholders use cases are prioritized and executed in a way that maximizes business value. The Capability Analyst will work with stakeholders and partners on defining/implementing solutions.

Responsiblities

* Understanding of the product roadmap and contribute to design workflow charts, business models, proof of concepts, and architecture

* Conduct data analysis and collect business requirements to translate them into shareable, understandable reports/artifacts

* Drive innovation proactively, identify and implement new ideas/technologies, which could substantially improve customer experience and/or create differentiation

* Develop Proof of Concepts using Cigna Tech Stacks

* Collaborate with business and technical subject matter experts to understand needs, support design, test and deploy capabilities and integration needs

* Assist in scheduling, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies related to deliverables

* Create User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, ensuring stories clearly communicate customer/Stakeholder needs to the development team; work with team to clarify stories as necessary

* Work with the delivery team to set and communicate release date and scope

* Participate in User Acceptance Testing to ensure products are working in production

* Utilize agile tools and resources to manage and track work via JIRA/Rally

Qualifications

* 3+ years of extensive experience in data informatics & data exchange, particularly using healthcare and clinical data such as: Claim, Membership, Client Structure, Benefits, and Utilization Management/Case Management etc.

* 3+ years of hands-on experience with data mining, analysis and visualization

* Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS)

* Ability to understand enterprise code artifacts on how data solutions are built to solve various business use cases. This will require deep understanding of technologies used for various data solutions such as:

* GIT, SSH, FTP

* Advanced Search Tool, such as SOLR and ElasticSearch

* Graph Databases, such as NEO4J and AWS Neptune

* APIs and Program Libraries

* Tools like Python, RStudio and Jupyter Notebook

* Databases such as Postgres, Hadoop and Teradata

* Experience in building Search as implemented by best in class companies (e.g. Amazon, Google, YouTube)

* Experience applying a consultative and collaborative approach. Work experience & expertise with team input to influence business priorities and business actions for maximum strategic benefit

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
