Operational Services Account Solutions (OSAS) is the primary operations arm for Advisor Services new clients and Investor Services. OSAS provides service to our retail clients and financial advisors to fulfill our purpose of helping everyone become financial fit. What you are good at
As a member of our OSAS team, you will focus on New Accounts, Account Maintenance, and Team Lead responsibilities. Below outlines a summary of responsibilities for this role:
Team Lead role:
* Provide call coaching & development while engaging in calibrations
* Enlighten planning and review
* Participate in interview observation
* Facilitate/create presentations & meetings for team member coaching and development
* Participate in Harvard Mentor & Leadership Skills Training
* Engage in a dialogue to identify ways to reduce client effort and improve the overall client experience while actively listening to client cues.
* Exude positivity and demonstrate the ability to problem solve while assisting Schwab clients in opening their accounts, as well as taking on escalations for time sensitive requests.
* Communicate with clients and business partners through various channels, including inbound/outbound phone calls and written communication.
* Establish clear points of contact for ongoing support and escalations.
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and a resource for the team and department.
* Act in the capacity of an Acting Team Manager (ATM) when called upon.
* Conduct a timely 9/10 review of client requests to alleviate risk to the firm.
What you have
* FINRA Series 7, 63, 9 and 10 Licenses required.
* 3+ years of work experience, preferably in financial services, operations, or client support.
* Self-motivated, able to work independently to bring projects and reporting to conclusion.
* Desire to take on a leadership role.
* Intermediate to Advanced technical skills with the ability to utilize at least 5 different applications at any one time, including Windows, internet researching, database systems, and email.
* Collaborative and relational work style with proven success in a team environment.
* Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics.
* Interest in a long-term career in financial services.
* Excellent analytical skills and ability to multi-task to perform multiple complex tasks with a superior level of attention to detail.
* Demonstrate flexibility and work collaboratively with team members to deliver high quality service while directing workflow with minimal direct supervision to ensure the department needs are met.
* Proficiency in the design, implementation, and delivery of training programs for continuing education of processes, regulations, products, and services.
* Demonstrates mastery of soft skills and professional growth by being available for questions, critical issues, time sensitive issues, recognizing and communicating trends, and creates consistent support that is in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the organization.
* In-depth knowledge of Schwab products, services, complex subject matters, policies and procedures as well as demonstrated brokerage industry knowledge.
