Job Description

* What Cloud FinOps contributes to Cardinal Health
* Engage regularly with Director and VP level stakeholders as their primary cloud finance and technical point of contact
* Oversee the adoption and implementation of Looker reporting for internal stakeholders
* Analyze stakeholder business objectives and use Looker and/or the vendor consoles to build insightful reporting
* Perform analysis, create decks and present regular operational reviews to internal stakeholder leadership (VP and above)
* Contribute educational content, EIT Hub posts, and tutorials to help stakeholders derive more value from Cloud
* Ability to deliver and articulate good, or not-so-good news
* Driving process and system improvements within and across the department that increase cloud financial efficiency
* Participate in the development, monitoring and enforcement of cloud financial policies
* Lead financial analysis and monitoring for cloud-related budgeting and forecasting
* Recommend cloud cost reduction measures to ensure optimal configuration from budgetary perspectives;
* Performing infrastructure billing and optimization activities;
* Maintaining cost information on a daily basis using AWS, GCP, Looker or other third-party tools
* Be the voice of the internal customer, cloud champion and advocate for application team requirements with our DevOps and Engineering teams

Qualifications
* Bachelor's in related field, or equivalent work experience
* 2+ years experience in related field
* IaaS knowledge: AWS, GCP, Azure
* Analytics/Data: Ability to navigate complex data sets and pull out insights using Looker, Excel, SQL or similar tools
* Skilled at building relationships with internal stakeholders and co-workers. As in: exceptional business partner with outstanding ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally and at multiple levels of the organization through influence rather than direct authority.
* A great communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts and ability to deliver good/bad news
* Demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility and capability to effectively build rapport with and partner with executives and sponsors.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills. Inquisitive and positive mindset in approaching complex problems.
* Ability to influence through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis
* Ability to analyze and interpret data to develop insights and recommendations that synthesizes information across functions and perspectives

What Software Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health

Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.

Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.

Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.

Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.

Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.

Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.

Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.

Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.

Qualifications
