Job Description
Test Engineer
Key Role:
Develop and analyze tests for products and systems and collaborate with other engineering departments, when necessary. Apply advanced consulting or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor or supervise team members, if needed.
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with testing complex mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, and electronics systems
* Experience with the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) development and staffing process
* Experience with the preparation of strategies, studies, plans, and analyses in support of test outcomes
* Experience with communications systems testing and writing and supporting Army test plans and summary reports
* Experience with the T&E requirements of the defense acquisition system and software-defined radios
* Secret clearance
* BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience with developmental tests in a laboratory
* Experience with the Production Qualification test
* Experience with the Army tactical communications systems
* Knowledge of the Frequency Allocation process
* Knowledge of Army Regulation 73
* Top Secret clearance
* MA or MS degree
