Test Engineer, Senior
Key Role:
Recommend testing methodologies to be used for specific systems. Prepare test plans documenting the intended test methodology and prepare test procedures and test cases based on specific requirements. Conduct various system tests, such as integration, systems, or regression with supervision, document and present test results, perform system validation and verification, and work with users and developers through all phases of the system lifecycle and ensure testability. Estimate resource needs for testing tasks for input into project budget and schedules. Act as a lead and mentor for the team.
Basic Qualifications:
* 12+ years of experience with bug tracking software, including Bugzilla, the OSI Model, TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and basic network concepts, developing or testing software written in C/C++, Java, or Perl, and scripting languages and testing software on Windows, Linux and Solaris platforms
* 6+ years of experience with estimating resources for testing task through the development of BOE documentation, testing classified systems developed for intelligence purposes in a lead test role
* Experience with preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements
* TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
* BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and 12+ years of experience with test engineering, a MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and 10+ years of experience with test engineering, or 16+ years of experience with test engineering in lieu of a degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
