Boeing Global Services is currently looking for an Mid Level Technical Data Designer (B-52) to join the team in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position will report to the Learning and Technical Data Solutions (LTDS) team within Boeing Global Services. This is a new opportunity to develop and update flight manuals for the B-52 Program.

Position Responsibilities:

* Update existing flight manuals
* Responsible for the quality and timeliness of work assigned
* Expected to pro-actively seek out necessary information to complete tasks
* Responsible to leadership of any issues affecting quality
* Collects, researches and analyzes source data
* Identifies source data inaccuracies and takes corrective action
* Conducts peer reviews of completed publication elements
* Participates in, or conducts customer technical and program reviews

.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* 3+ years' experience operating or maintaining the B-52 mission systems avionics
* 3+ years' experience in the use, management or writing of technical publications
* This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* Experience writing military flight manual procedures
* Experience with Arbortext Epic Editor and/or Adobe Framemaker
* 1+ years' experience authoring of military technical, manuals

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
