Job Description
The Senior Manager, Payer and Channel Marketing will design and support the development of key initiatives and tactics for payer channels which include:
* Private and government payers
* PBMs
* Specialty Pharmacy and Distributors
* Hospitals, Treatment Centers, and Providers
Essential functions of the job include:
Leading implementation of key tactics that support broad access and reimbursement strategy for MS products
Serving as a key subject matter expert and source of market-specific information, segmentation, strategic direction, and tactical concepts
Aligning with brand teams to develop messaging to drive value to government and private payers and channel customers
Determining appropriate marketing mix to drive product access and refine mix based on customer and market feedback
Gathering data, design customer development programs, and lead the development of strategies and tactics in collaboration with brand product managers and field teams
Acting as a liaison with cross functional partners to lead and guide tactic and program development
Managing the regulatory and legal approval process for market access tactics and deliverables
Developing the annual brand plan from a Market Access and Reimbursement perspective, while ensuring alignment with the US brand and global teams

Qualifications
5-7 years pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience, including payer marketing, marketing, sales, health economics, and account management-related activities
Understanding of health care delivery and payment/insurance systems in the US
Advanced business and financial acumen skills with the ability to apply them productively in lateral and superior relationships; detailed oriented, strong quantitative and analytical ability
Proven ability to use customer and marketplace insights to identify, develop and implement initiatives that meet customer and company needs
Experience managing key commercial processes that are critical to business performance, including brand planning and positioning, value proposition development, pricing and reimbursement strategy, and life cycle management
Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced education/degree preferred
