Job Description
The Nurse Manager is responsible forcreating and sustaining a healthy work environment for staff which fostersexcellent professional nursing practice, shared decision-making,interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration resulting in positive patient and staffoutcomes.
The Nurse Manager supervises allnursing and unit-based personnel in the department in order to provide a safe,caring environment for patient/family and staff. The Nurse Manager plans,develops, implements, evaluates and monitors policies/procedures, budgets, theallocation of resources, continuous quality improvement initiatives,educational programs and shared governance/shared leadership councils toachieve departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
Ideal candidates for the NurseManager role have the ability to assess operations with a critical, keen,approach, and are proactive with minimal guidance to problem resolution.

Bachelors ofNursing Degree required
RegisteredNurse (RN) license required
Basic LifeSupport (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required
