The National Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for directly leading a small onshore team as well as oversight for a 160 person receivables team for a multi-billion dollar receivables organization. This leader will be expected drive both receivables and cross functional initiatives to make our accounting operation more effective
How you will impact the business?
* Lead all aspects of the account receivable portfolio and provide leadership to staff. The key objective of the team is to maximize profit and cash flow for the company by minimizing write-offs, bad debt, and overall account balances while maintaining tight internal controls and exceptional customer service.
* You will play a meaningful role in providing business support and making recommendations to improve operations across our various divisions.
* Ensure processes and procedures are accurately documented
* Provide leadership and guidance on how to effectively partner with our Gallagher service center in India
* Remain current on industry/customer, legislative, and technology improvements that can impact our business.
* Mentor, coach and develop team to create and maintain an engaged, productive, and experienced organization
* Align team goals and objectives to ensure that future SLA targets are met or exceeded.
* Assist team in the collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales organizations, Account Management, Customer Service, Legal, etc. to ensure effective communications of status as well as to resolve issues as they arise.
* Participate in month end close: coordinate activities for AR, review of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
* Prepare and/or review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
* Provide budget and forecast departmental costs in addition to balances for accounts receivable balance sheet accounts.

* 5 or more years of related professional experience
* Requires some functional and industry experience and/or expertise
Desired:
* Bachelors Degree
* Leadership experience directly managing people both on site and remotely
* Large scale organizational change experience
