Location: The territory for this position is Palm Beach & Broward Counties, FL; and the selected candidate must live in the territory or surrounding area
The HSI Field Sales & Service Representative is responsible for meeting monthly sales goal for an assigned territory through the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Performs compliant sales presentations to enroll prospective members into the Plan as per Marketing Policies and Procedures while complying with State and Federal Guidelines
- Ensures only Medicare Approved Materials are used during presentations.
- Conducts in-person appointments at participating medical centers or prospects home
- Promotes and contributes to a positive, problem-solving environment
- Assists customers, family members and others with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains confidentiality of customer medical records in accordance with state and federal laws
- Ensures compliance with CMS, AHCA, HIPAA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local regulations
- Manages customer records in the automated lead tracking system according to the departments standards
- Identifies opportunities within the territory to generate leads in addition to those provided by the company through building relationships with contracted medical providers senior organizations and other community leaders and educating these groups about Senior Services products
- Provides member retention services to existing customers
- May require extensive travel outside of designated county as well as evening and weekend hours anywhere in Palm Beach or Broward Counties.
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma; 2 years of direct sales or marketing experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Bi-lingual English & Spanish/Creole highly preferred. Medicare Advantage experience is required. BA/BS preferred. Requires Life & Health licensure required by state law.
