What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will apply molecular modeling and computational chemistry techniques towards advancement of drug discovery programs. The primary responsibilities are:

* Applying structure-based and ligand-based drug design and predictive modeling to advance drug discovery projects with interdisciplinary project teams of medicinal and protein chemists, structural biologics and therapeutic biologists.
* Developing and applying new computational chemistry and molecular modeling methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Masters degree and 4 years of Computational Chemistry experience

OR

Bachelors degree and 6 years of Computational Chemistry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* PhD. in Computational Chemistry or related field.
* Strong track record of research accomplishments in computational chemistry with three or more scientific publications or conference presentations.
* Understanding of the physical chemical properties of small-molecules and their interactions with proteins.
* Experience in advanced computational chemistry methods, including quantum mechanics and molecular dynamics.
* Experience with molecular modeling suites such as MOE and Schrodinger.
* Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary team environment.
