Airgas is currently recruitingfor a Class A Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to support our SpecialtyProducts division in Cherokee, AL.

What will I be doing?

As a Class A Driver operatingour 53ft. Tanker Truck, you will responsible for delivering Aqua and AnhydrousAmmonia products to our customers in Cherokee, AL and the surrounding areas.Additionally, you will provide emergency response, routine maintenance, andminor repairs for ammonia systems.

Area of Coverage:

Based out of Cherokee, AL ourCommercial drivers travel up to 600 miles weekly covering the regional areasGeorgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

Whats in it for me?

Start timesbetween 12 am 4 am, Monday Friday with occasional on call weekend work.

40 hours weeklyguaranteed, with opportunity to work up to 50 65 hours per week.

Hotelaccommodations provided for possibly 2 3 overnight layovers monthly.

Please note thaton call and layovers are subject to change depending on business needs.

Requirements:

At least 25 yearsold.

Class A CDL withat least 3 years CMV experience experience must be within the last 4 yearsand tanker/hazmat endorsements are required before hire date.

Graduation froman accredited truck driving school with diploma will count as 1 year ofrequired experience.

No preventableaccidents of any kind in the last 3 years.

No more than 2minor tickets in the last 3 years.

No seriousviolation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years.

No suspensions ofCDL in the last 3 years except for Failure to pay child support.

No DUI in thelast 7 years.

High schooldiploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.

Must be able tolift up to 60 pounds.
