You are:

A Finance Initiatives & Business Information Sr. Analyst who will support the AFS Initiatives team within the Controllership organization.

The work:

* Leading special projects across the Controllership organization including process automation and optimization efforts
* Supporting pre and post merger integration activities
* Analyzing reporting data across various finance business systems
* Supporting design, implementation and testing of reporting in coordination with Finance and IT
* Performing root cause analysis on escalated issues/defects
* Supporting financial system testing on an as needed basis
* Leading initiative to track, manage and resolve AFS suspense

Qualifications

Here's what you need:

* Bachelor's degree
* 1 year work experience in finance, business information systems and/or business process optimization
* Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, Data Analysis)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills

Bonus points if you have:

* 1 year of exposure in one or more of the following process areas: Record to Report, Sales to Cash, Requisition to Pay, Forecasting, Budgeting & Pricing, and Time and Expense
* 1 year of exposure to Government Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulation, and/or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
* Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Deltek T&E, Cognos Enterprise Reporting and/or Concur
* Proven ability to work creatively, analytically and independently in a problem-solving environment
* Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
* Experience with business systems consulting/implementation
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal skills

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
