Your role

UBS Business Solutions US LLC seeks Associate Director, IT Software Engineer in Weehawken, New Jersey.

We are looking for someone to:

• lead the technical analysis, development, and testing efforts for Business Intelligence reporting solutions
• design and develop data flow applications for extracting data from multiple internal financial software applications • analyze business requirements, design, and implement solutions based on a well-defined software development life cycle (SDLC)
• provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs within a complex business domain

Your team

You will be working on the Group Technology team located in Weehawken, NJ.

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Technology Lead or a related role
• position requires 5 years of experience developing, maintaining, and working with data warehouses

Must also have experience in the following:

• providing technical direction for the development, design, and integration of distributive computing solutions
• reviewing the work of others
• mentoring and coaching developers
• hands-on technical lead of onshore and offshore developers
• design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
• improving older code bases as well as in using modern design patterns
• recognizing system deficiencies and implementing effective solutions
• Oracle, SQL, Cognos or JasperSoft or MicroStrategy reporting technologies, UNIX/Linux, and ETL (Informatica)
