This is a non-exempt position that assists physician in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, invasive cardiac, electrophysiology and vascular procedures, to include call- back rotations for RNs in diagnostic cardiology, care and maintenance of equipment and delivers appropriate patient care. Work is of a highlyconfidential nature.
Job Requirements
Associate Degree required.
Experience preferred:
RN with two or more years of critical care or cath labexperience.
For other Allied Health Professionals, one to threeyears Cath lab or angiography experience including diagnostic, PTCA, stent,and/or electrophysiology implant is preferred.
RequiredLicense/Certifications:
Applicant musthave completed an associate or bachelor degree in Radiology Sciences,Cardiovascular Technology, or Nursing with current licensure or registration(as appropriate) in the relevant field required, or equivalentexperience. RN, R.T. (R) (CV) or (CI) or (VI), or RCIS credential requiredor must be obtained within 12 months of hire. The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and reacteffectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult andgeriatric patients. CPR certification required and provided. ACLS required ormust be obtained within 12 months from date of hire.
