This Engineering position is for a Product Development Engineer for Sort Test Technology Department's (STTD) Product Development Engineering (PDE) Team. The PDE team is chartered with product ownership of all of all end of line testing in the Assembly Test Technology Development factory (ATTD) along with product engineering development activities enabling future Test Equipment and Process Development. Product Development owned by STTD spans many of Intel's Key product initiatives, including Clients, SOC, FPGA and Server products. This PDE role encompasses technical and operational leadership across. Class Test Modules and in support of several product division with interaction across various Assembly Test Manufacturing (ATM) sites.

Your Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Engaging with product division before design and tape-in to assess support level requirements in ATTD and, if necessary, divisional training/rotation.
* Transferring, validating, releasing and supporting test programs for engineering/qualification samples.
* Interfacing with key stakeholders (Division, Q&R, Yield Analysis, Assembly/Test) to support product, New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering & Production sample generation.
* Delivering test programs & supporting PDE activities for new technologies and test equipment/Process, and supporting Development of Experiments (DOEs) for same.
* Serving as central contact for ad hoc Divisional, ATTD, Fab and STTD Test support requests.
* Partnering with module development engineering to support process qualification for enabling Test Process Cert.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements:

* Possess a bachelor's degree (with 1+ years of relevant experience) or master's degree or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

* Knowledge of Intel CPU/SOC architecture, scripting, UNIX, C/C++ and Perl, Python programming.
* Familiarity with Design for Test (DFT) principles.
