In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

* Create, define and develop system validation environment and test suites.
* Use and apply emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec.
* Development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.
* Broad understanding of multiple system areas and interfacing with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future on die debug features.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must have a Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of experience with: - OR - a PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field and 1+ years of experience with:

* Developing and validating emulation test benches or emulation transactors
* Programming in C/C++/ Python/ Perl
* x86 architecture and power management
* Computer architecture and digital design

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience with:

* FPGA testbench, emulation or transactor development
* Data structures
* Synopsys or Mentor Graphics platforms
* Simics Virtual Platforms
* C/C++ skills
