This position is responsible for overseeing and directplanning and budgetary activities and analysis of actual results for thebusiness, supporting the long and short term strategic plan of Henry Schein One. Responsibilities will include the preparationof annual budgets, financial modeling, cost benefit analysis and various otheranalysis as may be required. Owning certain initiatives to develop plans and achieve implementation. Propose and supportexecution of business development activities.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
* Preparation of annual budget (P&L and Capital), monthly risk and opportunity updates and quarterly conference call data.
* Lead the monthly forecastingwith full understanding of business strategy and trends in collaboration withthe sales teams and other finance partners
* Analyze and measureprogress in actuals against budget and RO.
* Development and maintenance of multiple year forecast for division and business segments.
* Provide analysis and modeling for headcount control.
* Planning and analysis of operating expenses
* Assists in development of key performance measures and reporting on performance relating to those measures.
* Business Unit profitability analysis
* Cost center and other key management cost analysis (eg marketing/advertising costs)
* Center profitability analysis
* Development and maintenance of Strategic metrics
* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
SCOPE:
Typically directa large complex section of a department or a complex department with significant scope and financial andoperational impact. Role mayfocus on executing a large and very complex/complicated process.Accountable for performance, results and staffing. Make recommendations for the objectives, policies and plans of thesub-function(s). Fully accountable for meeting the strategic, and operating objectives ofthe sub-function(s). Developproposed budgets for approval and manage budget once approved. Operate withsubstantial latitude for un-reviewedaction or decision. Often playsa role in high-level projects that have an impact on the companys futuredirection.
COMPLEXITY:
Work on complex, numerous and unique issues where analysis of situations or datarequires in-depth knowledge of thecompany and an evaluation of intangibles. Knowledge of all areas within sub-function(s) derived from experience innon-management and middle-management roles allowing for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas within thefunction.

Participate in establishingthe strategic direction to ensure alignment with overall Company strategy andinitiatives. Focus may be on the execution of a large and/or complex processes. Translate and guide teamto implement strategy.
SUPERVISION:
Direct and controlactivities through several managers or seniorprofessional level staff who have responsibilityfor the operation of the assigned area and/or process or system.
INTERACTION:
Regularly interact with executives and/or major customers/stakeholders. Abilityto negotiate with customers ormanagement and influence senior level leaders regarding matters ofsignificance. Build personal networks to achieve mutually beneficial solutions.
MANAGEMENTDUTIES:
Can hire, terminate, or promote and is aware of higher-level functional issues and concerns. Makesdecisions on salary increases, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, etc.
Qualification
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 12 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 5 or more years of management experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelors Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Masters degree or global equivalent a plus.

* Ability to handle multiple priorities and to connect well with all layers of Henry Schein organization.
