Assistance with Covid Vaccine Clinic- 6:30-1p Tues, Wed, Fridays

Central Florida Regional Hospital, a 221-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center, serves the communities of Seminole and West Volusia counties. The hospital provides the only full-service cardiovascular program in Seminole and West Volusia, including open heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation and comprehensive diagnostic services. Other specialized services include orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation and complete imaging services.

Central Florida Regional Hospital is located 3.6 miles east of I-4 between S.R. 46 and Highway 17-92 in Sanford. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care at its main location as well as at Heathrow ER located at 4525 International Parkway in Sanford. The Occupational Health RN provides occupational health services for the hospital. Conducts employment related health screenings, pre-hire onboarding ,provides case management and coordination of the Workers Compensation program. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory agency requirements pertaining to the occupational health and insuring compliance in policy and practice. Responsible for managing and communicating a high degree of complex information in written, auditory and visual fashion.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of workers compensation, OSHA, ADA, JCAHO and other related employee/occupational health issues. Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, and use of computer systems related to the work.

* Could include some early morning hours & weekends hours if needed

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: One year previous experience in a clinical or occupational medicine role

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current Florida State Registered Nurse license required. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) American Heart Association; or BLS Instructor issued by AHA or American Red Cross
