We're looking for a Sr. Recruiting Manager that will lead the strategic partnership between recruiting and our business leaders. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver a talent acquisition strategy that identifies and engages the top talent in the market. You'll manage a team with responsibility for portfolio management across a large and complex business group in our Defense vertical. You will innovate and drive process changes through trust and transparency with managers and by providing the critical feedback necessary to grow our business.

As a GDIT Sr. Recruiting Manager, you will be responsible for attracting, hiring, developing and mentoring a highly-effective team of recruiters; have the ability to develop and execute proactive recruitment strategies in collaboration with your team, internal partners and hiring managers. You will be instrumental in assisting with the transformation of the GDIT recruiting function. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring strategies are aligned to the business objectives and GDIT's imperatives with a customer-centric focus on the candidate experience.

A day in the life:
* Provide a high-level consultative approach with Senior Leaders and hiring managers regarding strategy, collaboration and solution for their book of business.
* Understand the intricacies of their program and environment dynamics through building and maintaining relationship with hiring managers and recruiters .
* Develop innovative strategies using research in the latest recruitment trends to provide recommendations to management on how to optimize and integrate these trends into daily practice.
* Actively manage Key Performance Indicators by developing and analyzing key metrics to ensure the goals are met and/or exceeded.
* Develop an effective pipeline of key talent by working with HR Business Partners and Resource Managers to create short and long-term forecasting models and workforce hiring plans.
* Provide on-going coaching to your recruiting team to ensure they are supported in their professional development to include providing opportunities for continuous learning on current trends and industry knowledge.

What you'll need:
* Current Talent Acquisition Management experience of 7 years; at least 3 years managing a recruiting team in a large-scale government contracting environment
* Significant Technical recruitment experience with demonstrated success in attracting and retaining candidates
* Thought-Leader with creative solutions to make immediate impact
* Subject Matter Expertise in using traditional, social media and other niche sourcing tools
* Knowledge and past use of a web-based applicant tracking system candidate workflow and dispositioning with EEOC and OFCCP compliance
* Motivated self-starter; results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to be organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, rapidly-changing environment
* Ability to provide reporting and analytics on staffing status and provide analytic updates to management and customers
* Demonstrated experience leveraging metrics to assess progress and drive efficiencies and process improvement.
* Proficiency using MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and Power Point
* Willingness to deliver a panel presentation as part of the final interview phase
