Summary:
The Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for utilizing a working knowledge of regulatory standards to implement and maintain the day to day functions of the Emergency Management programs of the Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital Froedtert West Bend Hospital Froedtert Community Physicians sites and Froedtert Corporate.

Serves as an Emergency Management content expert for the Froedtert Health organizations assigned too.

Implements the Emergency Management Program of the sites assigned. including training exercise development equipment materials and documentation.

Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

A minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in coordinating Emergency Management programs is required.

Work in a health care setting is preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Health Administration Emergency Management Security or Police Science is required.

Certifications/designations preferred: Certified Healthcare Emergency Coordinator (CHEC);Certified Emergency Manager (CEM)

The following courses must be successfully completed within 12 months of date of hire: Completion of a 2-hr. Hazardous Material Decontamination Course ICS-100 Introduction to the Incident Command System ICS-200 ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents ICS-300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents ICS-400 Advanced ICS for Command and General Staff IS-700 An Introduction to the National Incident Management System IS-701 NIMS Multiagency Coordination System (MACS) IS-703 NIMS Resource Management IS-800 An Introduction to the National Response Framework HSEEP -Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program.

Strong project management organizational time management written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge of The Joint Commission - Emergency Preparedness Standards

Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint.
