Job Description

Facebook is seeking a talented IP Litigator to join the Legal departments IP Litigation team, focusing on copyright and trademark litigation. This is a full-time position and will report to our Associate General Counsel, IP Litigation. You must have the ability to operate independently and work proactively with various teams across the organization including Legal, Product and Engineering. Associate General Counsel, IP Litigation Responsibilities

* Manage and drive strategy for multiple IP litigations involving copyrights and trademarks - from start to finish

* Collaborate with and manage outside counsel

* Advise the company on copyright, trademark, and related non-patent IP issues

* Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities

* Work extended hours when necessary to complete projects in a timely fashion

Minimum Qualifications

* J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar

* 8+ years of trademark and/or copyright litigation experience from a law firm and/or in-house

* Experience managing copyright and/or trademark litigations

* Experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with web-based technologies and/or intermediary liability issues

* Trial and/or appellate experience
