The Facebook Reality Labs team is building products that make it easier for people to connect with the ones they love most. Our team has the responsibility for taking breakthrough concepts and delivering them to market at scale. Facebook Reality Labs team seeks a Systems Integration Engineering Lead who has experience in consumer electronics and battery operated mobile products. We are currently seeking an innovative Systems Integration Engineering Lead. This person should have a passion for working across technical disciplines to develop compelling products and platforms that involve maturing technology and solving complex problems. This position requires someone who has expertise working with product teams; able to work collaboratively with non-technical and technical partners, to manage system maturation, requirements, and respective risks; and focused on execution while providing clear and effective communication to remove barriers across the team.

Facebook Reality Labs, Systems Integration Engineering Lead Responsibilities

* Drive development of system integration requirements for shipping product lines, and advance technologies necessary to create integration processes that can deliver these requirements

* Engage cross-functionally with other engineers, engineering managers, and technical program managers to develop processes that advance the entire product pipeline (hardware, software, infrastructure, and applications)

* Communicate technology, processes, and plans effectively to both internal and external stakeholders

* Coordinate with team leads to progressively integrate the integration processes into hardware systems

* Facilitate and work with teams to identify, debug, and resolve technical project challenges

Minimum Qualifications

* BS or MS degree, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

* At least 6 years of experience in product development

* Experience in developing advanced systems with multi-function/multi-disciplinary threads across hardware, software, and firmware

* Experience working cross-disciplinary and mentor best practices and team members

* Experience in new technology products, development, and integration of advanced systems in consumer electronics
