Systems Security Engineer, Mid
Key Role:
Support day-to-day operations that are broad in nature and concerned with system security design, risk reduction, implementation, and integration. Provide guidance and support to technical and programmatic requirements derivation, especially focused on meeting security requirements, and provide senior technical guidance and leadership to engineering, analysis, and development teams. Incorporate best practices, standards, and processes through team collaboration to provide timely, technically sound recommendations that meet customer requirements and ensure optimal efficiency and performance of deployed systems.
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with performing Information Systems Security Officer functions
* TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
* BA or BS degree and 4+ years of experience with systems security engineering in programs that encompass systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition into operations, MA or MS degree and 2+ years of experience with systems security engineering in programs that encompass systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition into operations, or 8+ years of experience with systems security engineering in programs that encompass systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition into operations in lieu of a degree
* Completion of DoD 8570 compliance, IAM Category, Level II
Additional Qualifications:
* Knowledge of the integration of security requirements, design, risk mitigation, and technology of complex systems
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
