PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Do you like food and Project Costing Accounting? If so, this role might be the one for you! You would play an active role in month end processing for project costing and would be responsible for all project costing accounting, reconciliations, and month end analysis for assigned brands. This role needs to ensure correct accounting related to all project costing related activities and would work closely with the Brand Reporting teams (KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut Connect, Habit Burger, YUM and YUM Connect).
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Perform timely completion all account reconciliations for assigned brands and that ensure all reconciliations are in compliance with SOX requirements.
Property loss claim set ups and accruals.
Project setup, retirements, monitor spending and JEs
Assist in period-end and quarterly accounting and analysis of various project costing related accounts.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other Finance related area.
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):
1-3 years’ experience in property accounting. General accounting experience is acceptable.
Strong systems and software aptitude (JD Edwards, Oracle and Reports Now helpful).
Strong analytical skills and immediate Excel skills are necessary.
Natural team player with effective communications skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
