The Financial Reporting Analyst position will perform the following duties:
* Coordination of Field Requests - includes coordinating requests of the field for management and external auditors as well as review and summarization of responses. Requires strong communication and organizational skills. Also requires a strong understanding of accounting as well as disclosure requirements. Must possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
* Hyperion Administration - includes system and report maintenance as well as monitoring security. Requires knowledge of Hyperion Consolidation system and Hyperion Report Writing system as well as consolidation accounting.
* Monthly Reporting Package - includes preparing reporting packages as well as verifying accuracy with opco's. Requires knowledge of Hyperion Consolidation system, including Hyperion Report Writing system, as well as a good general accounting understanding. Must possess problem solving/critical thinking skills to get any issues resolved quickly as well as strong organizational and communication skills as dealing with many opco's.
* Monthly Reporting - includes preparing and verifying monthly reports distributed to management. Requires knowledge of Hyperion Retrieve, Hyperion Consolidation system and Hyperion Report Writing system. Also requires strong computer and spreadsheet skills and a good general accounting understanding. Must pay close attention to detail. Also must understand importance of deadlines and possess good organizational skills to ensure reports are distributed timely to the appropriate individuals.
* SEC filings - includes assistance in preparing/reviewing quarterly and yearly filings as well as preparation of supporting schedules. Requires knowledge of SEC filing requirements, including disclosure requirements and due dates, as well as a strong accounting knowledge. Must pay close attention to detail and understand importance of deadlines.
