As a Google Cloud Platform Security Engineer you will be responsible for building out, managing and focusing on Public Cloud security and providing advisory on securing applications moving to Public Cloud. You will work closely with multiple teams that make up IT and Technology to drive impactful change.
The position also requires working closely with senior leadership globally to coordinate day-to-day matters, solve issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion.

Job/Skills Description
Skills (Must have):
* Experience in cloud security fundamentals covering Google Cloud Platform and any 1 of the cloud platforms: Azure, AWS
* Hands on experience at the IaaS layer with provisioning of resources securely in a cloud environment such as VM, Cloud storage, Cloud Functions, VPC, VPC peering, Dashboards, etc.
* Experience with assigning IAM permissions on GCP and any 1 of the cloud platforms: Azure, GCP
* Experience with automation tooling (e.g Terraform, CFT, Arm templates,..) provisioning on cloud platforms
* Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows platforms.
* Hands-on experience with scripting with languages such as Python, PowerShell, C,..
* Strong solution architecture, design, and impact analysis skills
* Strong Hands-on design, programming and debugging skills
* Excellent communication skills along with the ability to think independently, take complete ownership of assigned tasks
* Strong Agile development expertise
* Expertise in setting up the operational architecture, participating in architectural reviews with clients Reference architecture team
* Good understanding of application security fundamentals and application architectures.
Education
Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Security/Information Technology
