You will joining a talented team and collaborate with other experienced planners supporting the Global CCMD business group. You will partner with the respective plant organization of the vascular prep range. The position is newly created to cover the end-end Supply chain of the portfolio and enable excellence in service to customer. You will be in charge of providing the right supply plans to the manufacturing site to enable the service to our regions and customers.

Your main responsibilities
As a member of the team and process-owner, you will be a challenging partner to our business colleagues (Sales, Marketing) by following-up very closely on all aspects of the Supply Planning process for your portfolio, including :
* Tracking our shipments to the regions to ensure each step is done appropriately & in timely manner.
* Setting up monthly plant Supply consensus with the manufacturing sites as well as participating to the Long Term Planning (LTP) process
* Validating Monthly volumes changes and escalating major variances
* Sharing the key SC metrics, i.e., backorder, inventory turns, FDS, line fill
* Liaising with the regional business cross-functional leadership team to understand business strategy and future business needs and translate them into supply needs
* Work closely with plant to understand capacity resources, LTP and lead product changes and launches
As Supply Planner supporting vascular prep, your main customer will be the US market but you will need to ensure that you are covering Global Needs.
* Working with the regional demand planner to obtain an understanding of the product demands within the regions
* Making allocation proposal when in short supply situations and in alignment with the Catheter Care Platform
* Working with global and regional supply chain teams to achieve an optimal distribution network, and maintain a key coordination point with local warehouse management and transportation functions
* Providing inventory projections for the respective product ranges considering Global Demand & Production plans.
Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related fields.
Experience
* Three to five years experience in Supply Planning
* Experienced in Supply and Inventory Planning, including leading and coordinating supply consensus activities.
* Experience in project management would be an asset (Set up SIOP, Product Line Moves, Inventory Improvement, CI tools).
* Collaborative as well as a team player, your communication abilities are unquestioned. You are especially skilled at liaising between manufacturing and business and balancing effectiveness vs. business needs.
* Analytical skills and a proven problem-solver, able to drill-down for root cause analysis and translating findings into business language. Most importantly, you are eager to contribute, open to change and a fast-learner.
* Other attributes include:
- Experience with supply & distributions models and understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- A working knowledge of SAP (APO, SCM DP/SP or other tools)
- APICS certification preferred.
