Responsibilities and Qualifications
The Credit Desk Specialist will be responsible for processing credit applications, setting accounts up in CDK, maintaining customer name file, sales tax exemption forms and processing check requests.
* Excellent communication skills
* A solid understanding of the Accounts Receivable Function
* A general understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
* Process credit applications
* Pull D&B reports or call references as directed
* Present to AR manager for approval/denial
* Scan completed applications with approval into shared folders
* Follow up with customers regarding sales tax exemption status and secure proper forms
* Process requests for information changes on account
* Generate a monthly charge customer list for each dealership and distribute to Fixed Operations personnel
* Process check requests
* Maintain name file for all platforms
* Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
* Must have a valid Drivers License
* Must be able to pass pre- employment screening (background and drug)
