On our team, you'll partner with some of the industry's most talented, creative, and innovative partners, from content strategists and CX researchers to digital product owners and programmers. This specific role will deliver UX design solutions for responsive web and native mobile app experiences supporting Ally Bank.
The Work Itself
* Partner with digital product and business to establish clear problem statements and measures of success
* Partner with CX and Usability team to define comprehensive customer journeys for target client persona and conduct research and testing
* Collaborate with content strategists to design solutions for responsive web and mobile app experiences
* Build user flows, wireframes, design comps, and prototypes that exhibit a proficiency in user-centered design practices
* Demonstrate a bold vision for excellence in interactive mobile app design with a dedication to evolving our customer and client experience
* Work with developers to determine feasibility and performance considerations
* Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design rationale and facilitate partnerships with digital product and business owners
* Highly innovative and encourage dedication to a higher standard
* Solutions oriented with the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing requirements and conditions
* Partner across related subject areas including usability, content strategy, accessibility, and web development to meet the established business objectives of this engagement.
The Skills You Bring
* 1-3+ years experience as a UX Designer at an agency, retail or financial services institution
* 1-2 years experience in financial services preferred
* 2-3 years proven experience native mobile app design for iOS and Android
* Experience crafting end-to-end customer journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
* Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, Axure and InVision preferred
* Experience in an e-commerce, media, or start-up environment with short interval release cycles is a plus
* Best-practices knowledge of WC3 and other web design standards
* Excellent understanding of usability/user centered design, UX methodology, interactive design principles and best practices, web accessibility, and corporate branding
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Solutions oriented with the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing requirements and conditions
