What youll do on a typical day:

* Manage, coach and provide direction to employees across the bill entry team, outsourced providers and invoicing teams
* Define and manage the performance requirements for the outsourced provider that enters the bill of lading (BOL) information; create and maintain documentation of the bill entry and customer invoicing processes
* Own, maintain and ensure compliance with the onboarding checklist related to bill entry and customer invoicing requirements; collaborate with owners of the onboarding process to validate that all required steps and tasks are completed for bill entry and customer invoicing
* Escalate roadblocks across various internal organizations to ensure that new business is brought on as quickly as possible while ensuring a smooth startup and high levels of customer satisfaction
* Oversee and direct the overall activities of billing, invoicing and the First Invoice Accuracy (FIA) processes, including oversight and support for the service center-based freight bill data entry process, the coordination and training of the on-site billing mentors, the invoice presentation process, and FIA, CI and QC validation
* Manage the project solution development and pilot execution process; revise project plans, budgets and benefit forecasts to ensure the project satisfies agreed-upon outcomes
* Create proposals and project implementation charters for agreement by executive, IT and operating personnel before the start of the solution implementation process, including cost/benefits, budget requests, project plans and historical documentation

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, youll need:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent work or military experience
* 5 years of related work experience

Itd be great if you also have:

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Ability to clearly communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce
* Demonstrated supervisory skills, especially leading and motivating others to implement new processes
* Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to multitask and strong attention to detail
