Designs and develops IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. The Solutions Architect is recognized as an expert within the organization and has in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function. Job Requirements Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Leads design reviews of solutions across multiple systems and understands the consideration for selecting best options for timely delivery across the solution domain.
* Analyze the scope and expected organizational impact of information systems.
* Designs, develops, and implements software for ecommerce applications and related technology.
* Leads code reviews to ensure functional performance specifications are met and engineering standards are followed.
* Design and conduct hardware and software tests.
* Keeps abreast of new technology patterns and trends and identifies technical areas for improvement within existing applications.
* Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements.
* Identifies and solves unique and/or complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
* Seeks to influence stakeholders regarding the development and maturation of the product, technology vision and strategy for the organization.
* Leads, guides, and mentors Engineers and other project team members in achieving milestones and objectives for complex technical solutions.

Job Requirements:
* Degree in Computer Science, a related technical or scientific field, or equivalent experience
* Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures and complexity theory
* Solid knowledge on OO design: Substitute 8-10 years of experience in the following
* Analysis, design, coding and implementation of large-scale applications.
* Knowledge on OO design including extensive design patterns & their applicability
* Ability to mentor and recruit junior developers & enforce good development practices like encapsulation, composition, continuous integration & test driven development.
* Familiarity with continuous integration and build tools
* Experience leading the development of enterprise-scale multi-tiered web applications
* Experience working with open source frameworks, e-commerce and/or order processing technologies
* Participation through completion of a multiple releases of multiple software projects
* Experienced in delivering high quality code that implement industry best practices in software and systems engineering
* Understand the UML Modeling constructs and diagrams for Software Engineering
