CAM Operator
Job Purpose:
Develops and prepares multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of the semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineering. Work may be completed through use of CAD or other computerized equipment. Checks dimensions, writes specifications, and verifies completed drawings, artwork or digitized plots. May check design layouts and detailed drawings.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
Using Valor Genesis employee will Download, analyze and edit customer supplied data in order to create tools for manufacturing circuit boards. Employee will read and learn all applicable design rules and SOPs. Employee will learn N/C editing for Drills, routes, mills, etc.
Education/Experience:
* -College education with emphasis on Programming/Computer Science preferred.
* -Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAM Operator in a Printed Circuit manufacturing environment is preferred .
* -Prior experience in a printed circuit manufacturing environment is preferred.
* -They must be able to read blue prints, customer specifications and be familiar with or capable of learning Industry Standards such as IPC.
* -They will be required to have good written and verbal customer communication skills. PC literacy is required.
