Advanced Technology Advanced Effectors has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst. Advanced Effectors is a portfolio of missiles that will play a pivotal role in the future battlespace. Products include next generation missiles, future franchise programs and other advanced technologies, concepts and enablers. The Financial Analyst will provide support to the Advanced Air Warfare Systems & Advance Enabling Technologies program office and AE Mission Area financial planning group. Tasks include working with Bookings/Backlog, Long Range Planning, compilation of forecasts/manpower at the program and Directorate level, EACs in a development environment, earned value management and preparing presentations for Program Management reviews.

General Disciplines and Responsibilities
Financial Planning:
* Act as liaison to the Advanced Effectors Financial Planning & Analysis team
* Forecast key financial metrics at the program level (including Bookings, Sales, Earnings and Cash) for Annual and Long Range Planning
* Program-level summary and communication of weekly/monthly / quarterly / annual results, forecasts
Program Business Analysis:
* Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis of resources for current and future orders
* Variable and fixed labor assessment to determine optimal manpower levels
* Material related sales and supplier cost management
* Earned Value Management reporting and analysis
* Risk and Opportunity valuation and impact on contract profitability
Minimum Required Skills:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience with a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field or a recent graduate with a related Masters degree with 2 years of directly related experience.
* Must be a US citizen
* Experience with various forms of budgeting and forecasting techniques
* Experience with Data and/or Financial Analysis and Reporting
* Experience with performing qualitative or comparative analysis with an emphasis on variance explanation.
* Experience with Advanced Excel skills
* Experience with developing senior level presentations
* Experience with qualitatively communicating variances to forecasts and financial results. Experience with variance analysis, identifying and communicating discrepancies in data.
* Ability to relate to technical people, complex hardware and processes.
Highly Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with Earned Value Management and EVM tools (MPM, APEX EV, forProject)
* Familiarity with financial evaluations of engineering projects, and/or process improvementsstrong understanding of what is driving variance within data sets
