Job Description

As a Product Management Process Manager you will be member of the product development team. The incumbent is accountable for managing the product management portion of the intake process for all 4 7 development projects within the region and managing the idea review and gate process for type 3 regional development projects. Additionally, you will have responsibility of understanding how these project fit into and support the high value opportunities and the growth pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage this product strategy integration into this the regional development process, which is an important enabler in the execution of the global strategic pillar of Transform the Business working across the commercial, technical and product development teams with regular dialogue with leadership team.
* Ensure project proposals meet key intake criteria and is managed via a gatekeeper review before being implemented
* Ensure the correct project type, starting stage and attributes are chosen for regional projects
* Ensure a timeline has been entered and is being updated for type 3 projects in the region and the business case analysis are completed for type 3 projects in the region
* Ensure the ongoing gate review cadence process is managed according to the regional requirements and that existing and previous projects are cross-referenced for leverage potential across region and globally
* Provide product management support to all regional intake discussions
* Provide PPO recommendations to projects that do not meet intake criteria
* Develop dashboard and metrics for regional portfolios
* Support regional SI&OP process for new launches
* Ensure commercial and market alignment and support for projects across all types 3-7
* Influence and update type 3 gate review and intake processes based on changing business needs
* Plan & organize, communicate and share information, mobilize resources, build strong work relationships through trust and respect, team working.

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree
* 3 5 years learning experience ideally working across a broad organization
* Knowledge of PPG coating technologies and the OEMs products portfolio and customers
* A proven track in project management, data analytics and management, preparation of business case with the ability to influence and work effectively across the organization. Also to be located either at one of the Automotive OEM laboratories or other location
* Have strong analytical thinking, a high level of curiosity and attention to detail, enjoy managing and analyzing data, be able to influence in a complex environment, with the ability to work effectively across the organization.
* Have a high level of excel and PowerPoint skills
