The Main Responsibilities

The candidate will be part of a global team working in a follow-the-sun model supporting global customers.
Candidate will be responsible for provisioning, monitoring, managing and troubleshooting customer environments in public and private cloud environments with specific emphasis on supporting Customer Commerce platforms.
Champion team transformation to using DevOps methods and CI/CD tools to support customers where possible.
Actively work to supplement and enhance internal automation for provisioning and support tasks. This may include everything from scripts to playbooks and tests, to CI/CD pipelines.
Work with our internal product development organization to provide customer and internal feedback on direction and weaknesses in both customer-facing and internal products.
Ensure availability of services in accordance with customer defined SLAs.
Provide RCA related to critical incidents and problems.
Plan and implement changes to the customer environment in accordance with Change Management process.
Ensure optimum utilization of Cloud services subscribed by the customer.
Coordinate with Cloud Service Provider and other 3rd party vendors when escalation is required.
Work to create and implement Service Improvement Plans for transforming customer environments.
Responsible for support of Customer middleware applications including WebSphere Commerce V7.0/8.0/9.0.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with Customers and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience supporting at least one of the predominant public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience working in an Agile- / Lean-inspired workplace, and comfort becoming an internal champion of those practices
Installation and configuration WebSphere Commerce V7.0/V8.0 platform available to external users by hosting webservers in DMZ
Deployed the Commerce code to all the environments using wcbd tool
Configured SOLR search and worked with Preprocess and build index process
Configured IHS webservers with multiple web instances
Install/migrate and Configured WebSphere Application ND 8.5.5
Tuned JVM parameters for the memory-related issues including configuration of Vertical and Horizontal clustering and workload management
Ability to develop shell scripts to automate the maintenance process of the WebSphere and managed the backup/restore of configurations.
Create queue managers, define queues, channels, listeners and adding queue managers to clusters.
Deploy application code and script automated deployment of the applications and integrated with Jenkins
Install and configure the webservers and integrate with the CDN
Working experience in using APM tools like APPD and Log Management tools like Sumo logic
Demonstrate functional knowledge of cloud concepts like Resource Groups, Virtual Machines, Containers, Virtual Networks, AD, Availability Groups/Sets, Backup Vaults, Load Balancers, NSG, Security, Express Route, etc.

Preferred Skills:
High-level knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language)
Knowledge of ITIL processes like Problem and Change Management. ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certified preferred
Have one or more certification in Cloud and/or WebSphere
Demonstrated experience managing CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, Gitlab CI, etc)
Experience working with Containerized applications (Docker, LXC, Kubernetes, etc)
Experience using common system management languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell
Experience using modern version control software such as GIT
