Primary Purpose
The Senior Optimization Business Analyst is responsible maintaining the capability matrix and roadmap by consulting with internal and external clients. This role will be responsible for collaborating with internal clients to determine how to optimize and drive continuous improvement for their current processes. In addition this role will oversee the department audit process. This role will also be responsible for managing and maintaining change management plans, application releases, and QA.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Capabilities Management and Optimization
* Maintain capabilities matrix. * Manage capability roadmap based on continuous evaluation. * Identify optimization opportunities based on cabability roadmap, client request and process reviews. * Consult and partner with internal clients to identify, develop and deliver tactical&x2f;strategical&x2f;innovative solutions to support the client&x27;s business needs and developing operational support strategies. * Coordinates with the clients in analyzing and recommending business solution alternatives. * Works closely with internal departments and external vendors to maximize overall support effectiveness. * Serve as a single point of contact and consultant to find win-win solutions that meet client needs and adhere to company standards. * Promote and support business process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
Project Management
* Serves as the project manager for the build, release and delivery of applications supported by My Info Services. * Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, with high quality and resolve issues with all stakeholders. * Plan team resource needs&x3b; work closely with other resource managers to select and schedule team members. * Work closely with resource managers to set clear expectations and roles for project team members, monitor progress and review results, and commitments. * Communicate plans, status, and issues to higher management level. * Manage project resources and contractors teams. * Facilitate timely project related management meetings to communicate status and to resolve key project, program and portfolio issues. * Document outcomes and agreements.
Change Management and Release Management
* Responsible for change management efforts, by maintaining application change management plans including and developing new process definitions, impact assessments, training requirements and communications, and working with vendors, internal IT and business groups, determines the roadmap for the software releases, testing strategies and issue mitigation. * Develop and execute testing plans for system releases, change requests, and defect resolution, as well ascoordinating vendors and internal resources to execute. * Maintains a yearly release calendar and product capability maps and UAT database of test scripts andautomation scripts. * Provide guidance and direction to team developing automated testing tools. * Understand automated testing architecture and related technologies&; Maintain high level project management schedule for critical and high visibility projects.
Department Audits
* Oversees all internal, external and SOX audits. * Review all vendor SOC1 &&x3b; SOC2 reports and responds to business controls. * Communicate and facilitate planning and execution of audit activities between management and auditors &x28;internal and external&x29;. * Develops and consults with respect to SOX risk assessments. * Conduct and implement audit&x2f;SOX training.
