Strategic Advisors Technology (SAT) is looking for a full stack Software Engineer who not only cares about what you produce, but how you produce it. We are looking for individuals who continually strive to advance engineering perfection and technology innovation.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Knack for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code
Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
Experience with middleware Java stack, messaging technologies and web containers
Experience working with DB, good command of SQL, understanding of data modelling
Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to CI/CD
Passionate about engineering perfection with a strong understanding of object-orientated programming
Write service layer code with proficiency, quality, and clarity
Deliver maintainable, extensible, reusable and performant solutions
Understand how to operate in an Agile environment and understand how to deliver using a Test-Driven approach
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and work to tackle them
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and work collaboratively with your team to do your work and improve overall team knowledge and practices
Fully engaging in product quality plan efforts, including test case development, design and code reviews and regression testing
Proven experience with client-side tech stack desirable: HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and Angular

History of Fidelity Investments

The Fidelity Fund was established in 1930, a year after the stock market crash of 1929 and before the Great Depression of 1933. The fund continued to operate until 1943 when it was acquired by Boston-based lawyer Edward C. Johnson II. At the time, the fund reported assets under management valued at $3 million. In 1946, Johnson II founded the Fidelity Management and Research Company, now Fidelity Investments, to serve as an investment advisor to the Fidelity Fund. When running the fund, Johnson’s objective was to buy stocks with a potential for growth, and not necessarily blue-chip stocks.

Fidelity Investments Operations

Fidelity Investments operates several businesses, with the main ones being mutual funds and brokerage services. The mutual fund division comprises three divisions – equity, high-income, and fixed income divisions. The company operates Fidelity Contrafund, the largest non-indexed mutual fund in the United States, with over $107.4 billion in assets. Fidelity Investments also owns Fidelity Magellan, which was at one time managed by former CEO and President Ned Johnson. Fidelity Magellan manages assets totaling $15.5 billion.
