Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Client Service Associate provides excellent quality customer service. Providing dedicated operational and sales support to multiple clients, maintaining quality service standards, addressing client questions and resolving basic issues in our three different platforms.
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Processes client Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS)
Processes both incoming and outgoing client asset transfers.
Processes client outgoing wires.
Processes client equity conversions
Processes client corporate actions (Tender offers, right offer, stock splits)
Handles incoming client customer service
Sends and saves client end of the day recaps.
Supports the client futures account
Monitors client items for attention.
Processes and documents all client securities transfers by Letters of Authorizations (LOA’s)
Processes client equity and international trades.
Processes client options trades
Ensures the matching and settlement of client trades is completed
Ensures all average price and facilitation accounts remain empty
Corrects any trade booking errors
Monitors and assists with client margin and funding issues
Facilitates client special handling items
Projects as needed
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics or equivalent work experience preferred
Must obtain Series 99 license in 90 days
Strong work ethic
Portuguese and Spanish language preferred
Detail oriented and excellent documentation skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects in a busy, demanding environment
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent customer service, communication, and organization skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Able to work with a minimum of supervision while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
Proven analytical problem-solving ability
