Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Systems Engineer for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) located in Urbandale, IA, you will….

Leverage system engineering process and methodologies to develop solutions to technical issues
Define and document requirements by planning and coordination with cross function team members
Develop new functionality the by leading sessions to generate innovative concepts to increase customer value
Lead design reviews to ensure alignment and signoff prior to solution development

What Skills You Need

Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate, and drive consensus with multiple different teams simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3+ years of demonstrated experience in a system engineering role
3+ years of translating customer and business needs into requirements
1+ years of experience working with product test on verification and validation activities

What Makes You Stand Out

Formal training in systems engineering
Firsthand exposure working with customers and the solutions we offer
Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering
Experience in a program management role

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural
