Basic Function

HollyFrontier Corporation in Dallas, TX is seeking an IT Systems Analyst, Marine Logistics who will be responsible for supporting the company's routine application systems and reporting environments while working with key users to improve business processes.

Job Duties

Provides support and resolution for various SAP modules including configuration and enhancement requests from the user community and company management Supports integration points between modules Supports various interfaces between SAP and other systems Analyzes process and configuration issues as they occur in the SAP Production system Provides support role to subsequent phases of SAP implementation Designs interfaces, reports, enhancements (including custom programs), and conversions to meet business requirements Designs and perform quality assurance testing, perform unit testing and integration testing Supports the development of end-user security authorizations by the end-user security authorization administration group Facilitates meetings, conduct and lead presentations and/or training sessions with end-users Communicates with colleagues, management, and business team members on requirements, problems, project status, and issues Delivers system solutions to business problems in a timely manner Understands and work within corporate IT governance practices Leads a team on special projects or play a lead technical role from time to time Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their manager, as determined from time to time are their sole and complete discretion

Responsible for supporting one or more of the following modules:

FI/CO (Finance & Controlling), SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), TSW (Traders Schedulers Workbench), PM (Plant Maintenance), HR (Human Resources), and EC (Environmental Compliance).

The following listed duties are essential job duties and responsibilities to the specified concentration:

Materials Management/Sales & Distribution Concentration:

Provides coordination support between all Maintenance, Repairs & Operation (MRO) systems, or all functions of the logistics systems, and functions of IT departments to assure effective use of the systems Supports various interfaces between SAP and other systems, including plant maintenance and procurement system, and Refinery Yield & Consumption Implements configuration changes, new releases and updates to the back office environment, including SAP and associated applications, in an effort to optimize the use of Information Technology within supply chain operations

Traders Schedulers Workbench Concentration:

Provides support to operations and logistics functions in the scheduling and actualization of bulk movements in SAP utilizing the Traders and Schedulers Workbench (Modules) Implements configuration changes, new releases and updates to SAP TSW as required for the effective support of supply chain operations Finance and Controlling Concentration: Supports configuration, enhancement, and troubleshooting for general ledger, tax, A/P, A/R, profitability analysis, fixed assets, and other facets of FI and CO Designs, maintains and adheres to IT standards for system development, change management, regulatory and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

Human Resources Concentration:

Translates requirements and provides design solutions on the PA info types and OM reporting structures Configures Info groups, Actions, PA30 Menu and Pay structures Acts as functional and technical support for SAP HR IT applications which may include Time Management, Payroll, Personnel Administration, ESS/MSS, Organization Management, and Recruiting

Experience

A minimum of five years of ERP job specific experience is required. Preferred Experience: SAP IS-OIL and Oil and Gas industry experience is preferred (Midstream/Pipeline & Downstream/Refining areas). Experience with Ariba and Fieldglass is also preferred.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience is required.

Work Conditions

Office based with travel up to 25% of time by land or air is required. Work conditions may require working petroleum refinery environment, warehouse and plant environments occasionally. Subject to varying road and weather conditions. Occasional long hours, as well as nights and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements

Job conditions require sitting, talking, hearing, making visual inspections, and making precise hand and finger movements. Job conditions may require standing, walking, and wearing personal protective equipment (beards not permitted)
