As a RP Relationship Consultant in Capital Group's Retirement Plan Services Group, you will join a team focused on collaborating with financial advisors, Third Party Administrators (TPA’s) and Plan Sponsors to establish and maintain retirement plans, helping over 1 million Americans save towards their retirement goals. Your scope will include providing dedicated plan consultation and services for assigned, higher dollar American Funds proprietary retirement plans. You will conduct in-person presentations with clients and consult on complex technical questions and respond to plan design and prototype amendment inquiries.  To thrive in this role, you are comfortable evaluating plan participation, identifying gaps and making recommendations to increase participation.

You have previous experience consulting with financial professionals and plan sponsors on product capabilities and enhancements resulting in increased plan efficiency, participation and retention. 

You are well versed in retirement plan design, terminology, regulations and procedures.  
You have an ASPPA designation. 
You thrive in team settings. You ask great questions, bounce ideas off of others and confidently share your perspective.

You are a skilled communicator. You place a high value on being authentic, respectful and engaging. You’ve facilitated a variety of successful meetings ranging in size, with diverse audiences.
You stay up to date on industry trends and best practices and maintain up to date knowledge of the external environment.
