Role Overview

The Total Rewards Operations Manager will be part of People Operations, a global shared service. This role will supervise a regional team responsible for the execution and administration of total rewards compensation programs (base salary and variable pay) according to the organizational needs of the company and as directed by the Global Total Rewards Delivery Manager.

Specific areas of focus will include (but not limited to) executing and leading the company’s annual total compensation planning program, management of data/metrics, training of comp staff, systems enhancements to support operations, total rewards and compensation processes/procedures ownership, communication/change management lead for total rewards to customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Defining, planning, and recommending regional operational objectives in alignment with the global and regional strategy and objectives, preparing specific short-term and near-future plans, monitoring progress to assure objectives are attained and schedules are met
Executes and leads annual total compensation planning which includes system configuration and testing, providing day to day support to planning managers on tools and guidelines, and partnering with HR Business Partners in finalizing plans
Collaborates with Business leaders, HR Business Partners, and centers of excellence (COE) to support and advise managers on compensation related activities such as new hire offers, promotions, job evaluations, etc.
Identifies and participates in compensation benchmarking, interacts with the partner consulting organizations, completes survey submissions, and analyses of the market data
Develops and updates national salary schedules
Partner with HR Systems to ensure our HRIS supports current compensation programs, assist with report generation to support business needs, and consult on system enhancements to improve the way we do business
Supporting the development and communication of compensation policies, processes, and programs
Selecting, training, developing, and supervising the compensation professionals in a given region.
Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 10 years of HR experience with demonstrated increasing responsibility over time OR 14 years of overall HR related experience in lieu of degree
Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
Minimum of 5 years compensation experience, both managing the annual total compensation planning for an organization/project/function and conducting benchmarking/market surveys for compensation
Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory, legal requirements and reporting including EEO, FLSA, OFCCP

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing compensation in North America and Latin America regions
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
Proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities
Demonstrated knowledge of and prior experience working with PayFactors or other similar Compensation systems, as well as HRIS systems like SAP and SuccessFactors
Advance Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
Strong understanding of continuous improvement and measurement processes
Experience training and presenting to large groups
Ability to work compulsory overtime during peak periods and travel as needed
